Abercrombie & Fitch Reports February Sales Results; Net Sales Increase 21%; Comparable Store Sales Increase 5%

NEW ALBANY, Ohio, March 2 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Abercrombie & Fitch (NYSE: ANF) today reported net sales of $192.7 million for the four-week period ended February 25, 2006, a 21% increase over last year's February net sales of $159.9 million. February comparable store sales increased 5% compared to the four-week period ended February 26, 2005.

February 2006 Developments

  • Total Company net sales increased 21%
  • Total Company comparable store sales increased 5%
  • Abercrombie & Fitch comparable store sales declined 6%
  • abercrombie comparable store sales increased 31%
  • Hollister Co. comparable store sales increased 15%
