Abercrombie & Fitch Announces It Will Discontinue Its Quarterly Magazine

NEW ALBANY, Ohio, Dec 09, 2003 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via Comtex/ -- Abercrombie & Fitch (NYSE: ANF) announced today that it has decided to retire the A&F Quarterly and will cease publication with the Christmas issue. While it has enjoyed success with the Quarterly over the years, the Company believes it is time for new thinking and looks forward to unveiling an innovative and exciting campaign in the Spring.

Abercrombie & Fitch operated a total of 694 stores at the end of November, including 173 abercrombie stores and 164 Hollister Co. stores. The Company operates e-commerce websites at www.abercrombie.com , www.abercrombiekids.com , and www.hollisterco.com .
